It is the second largest country in population after China. By 2034, India will be the most populous country on earth with 1.6 billion people. There are 35 states with 700,000 villages. India is the home to the biggest youth population on Earth; 600 million people are under the age of 25. This country is the world’s fourth largest economy. This is also the largest arms importer in the developing world. 40% of Indians speak English.

India and Nepal are the two Hindu countries in the world. This is a secular country with 75%Hidus, 16%Muslims, 7%Christions, 2% others. There are 4635 races in this country. 500,000 villages are to be reached.  There is no church among 2600 Tribal group. More than 2.3 million pilgrim centres are here. 35% of population are living under poverty. India is the no.1 country having more sick people in the world. 6.85 million Are affected by AIDS. 60% million children are sexually abused. More than 54 million widows. More than 11.25 million children are involved in child labour.

Among much opposition and persecution, Christianity is growing fast. More than 6000 souls are being added every day.  More than 200 churches are being established every month. India is the No.1 country the world in doing much missionary work.  Two third of world mission are serving in India. More than 3000 mission organization in 2000 mission fields.
