THE JESUS MISSION has a medical team with 2 Physicians, 2 Pediatricians, 1 Gynecologist, 2 Ophthalmologist and 13 Paramedical workers. We have 2 pastors and 20 Christian volunteers that assist us in the camps.  We analyze the villages with the most desperate medical needs and select a village to conduct the free medical camp in that area.  With the help of the local village leaders, we choose a public place such as schools or churches to minister the medical needs to the people and set-up the camp.  We screen the medical needs of that area and treat people accordingly.  Sometimes, if no proper public place is available, we conduct the camp outdoors, under the shade of large trees.

Prior announcements and advertisements are handed out in the nearby villages about the camp, so that the people will be aware of the camp and are able to come and receive the treatment they need. In every camp 2 or 3 doctors will work with the medical team.  The camp begins early in the morning and we start with prayer and then administer the medical treatment until late in the evening. 300 to 350 people come and receive these benefits in each camp. Medical checkups, medicine and treatments are freely given. Nutritional supplements will be given to malnourished children and pregnant women. The Good News of Jesus is shared with all patients and everyone receives prayer for their healing and for their personal needs by our volunteers.

Since we conduct the camp with the help of the local churches, each camp becomes a blessing to those local churches.  Our medical aid heals the body and the spiritual ministry heals their souls.  We have many exciting testimonies throughout these camps.  Many have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. Through our camps, many villagers have come to know about the Name of Jesus for the very first time. So through this medical mission we are able to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR NEED: Many remote villages in India are in desperate need of special medical care.  To reach those villages we need a mobile medical van with all facilities for medical emergencies.  Moreover, we treat hundreds of patients in every camp for which we need more medicine. The cost of each camp is approximately $2000. Sponsors are welcome to support each camp.
